This week, Bing Ads announced the release of Automated Rules. Similar to Google AdWords, Bing Automated Rules give you the ability to schedule and automate your top campaign management actions. In this initial release, you can automate campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords.
Here is where you can find the Automated Rules section in the Bing Ads interface:
There are now 13 different types of rules that you can schedule and automate:
With automated rules, you have the flexibility to preset more actions, like start and stop a campaign for a special event.
To manage automated rules, click on “Automate”, then “Manage” rules to edit existing rules and view logs of any rules that have run recently. As shown in the picture below, you can edit, pause, enable, or delete your existing automated rules.
On the bottom of the same screen you will be able to see the logs of all rules that recently ran:
Every time a rule runs, Bing generates a report of all changes made by the rule. Shown on the “Details” report here:
To get started with Bing Automated Rules, click on the new “Automate” action in the Campaigns, Ad Groups, Ads, and Keywords tabs or contact your Bing representative for setup help.
