Firmly standing by their practice of listening to their users’ feedback from forums and various other Bing-staff-accessible locations, adCenter told us earlier this month that an upgrade was on the way. Well, here it is! Live and available for your use…the September 2011 upgrade!
The latest upgrade consists of two major changes:
- Faster & Easier Account Reactivation-going forward, if you have an Inactive account in Bing that you would like to reactivate, you can do so with the click of a single button rather than having to create a brand new one. However, keep in mind if your Inactive account has carried an unpaid balance for more than 180 days, that account will not be eligible for Reactivation using this method. To access this one-button reactivation method, simply click on your Accounts & Billing tab and under the Account List section, you’ll see a ‘Reactivate’ button at the very top of the account list table. Check the box next to the Inactive account you wish to reactivate and click that button. Done!
- Improved Account Management Experience-This upgrade was designed with the newest Internet browser versions in mind, so if you haven’t updated your browsers recently, this may be a good time to do that. The update will also now serve an alert message to any users not on the most updated version of their browser for maximum use of the adCenter interface. Unfortunately, it appears this update still doesn’t make the interface fully compatible with any versions of Safari or Chrome, but that update should be coming in the near future.
What do you think of the most recent round of updates for Bing adCenter? Is it helpful or wasting your time? Share your thoughts and ideas in the comments section below!
