Every year, PPC Hero launches the Top 25 Most Influential PPC Experts of 2014. We’ve found it to be a very popular and resourceful list for many of our PPC allies, both new and old.
With the introduction of our brand new conference focused entirely on conversion rate optimization (CRO), called Hero Conf Conversion Summit and happening in Indianapolis on October 14-15 at the NCAA Hall of Champions, it only made sense to do a list that focuses on the industry’s most influential conversion rate optimization experts as well.
So without further ado, here’s the Top 25 Most Influential Experts in 2014!

Formula and Methodology
The ranking formula and methodology mirrors our Top 25 Most Influential PPC Expert list. We scored experts based on traditional information like speaking engagements, blog posting, and book publishing, as well as on non-traditional info like twitter impact and of course, voting by you! Women of CRO
The Top 25 list includes a heck of a pool of awesome CRO experts….if you aren’t already following the likes of Oli Gardner, Neil Patel, and Bryan Eisenberg, then you probably should be (an easy and free follow list is available below, but don’t stop reading here yet!).
However, we also noticed that some equally fabulous women didn’t make the list for one reason or another. Looking at the Top 25 list, you’ll see that each expert is literally stacked right on top of each other. There’s not a lot of differences between their scores (many, just by 1 point of influence!) and that pattern continued beyond the first 25. There’s so many factors that go into these lists, but not making it via number-wise, doesn’t mean someone isn’t influential.
We recognize and understand that and want to make sure we give recognition where its due. Another blog post will be coming out shortly. Keep your eye on PPC Hero!
